PROCESSING TIME FOR YOUR ORDER
We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround time; most orders are packaged within 1 business day of ordering. Our policy is that orders will ship within 2 business days of placement. If the order processing time frame differs from this, you will receive an email with an estimated ship date. Standard domestic shipping is through USPS and should arrive 2-5 business days after processing, while expedited shipping should arrive 2-3 business days after processing. (Sundays and holidays are not business days.)
Need it sooner? Send us a message or text 512-207-0640 to see if we can accommodate your order and arrange for Priority Mail Express (guaranteed overnight delivery) or another shipping service (both at the customer's expense).

Under $50.00 = $4.50 standard shipping (USPS First Class Mail)
$50.00 - $95 = FREE STANDARD SHIPPING via USPS First Class Mail, estimated 2-5 shipping days after processing (note that the time frame is not guaranteed and free shipping excludes international shipping)
Over $95 = FREE EXPEDITED SHIPPING via USPS Priority Mail or UPS ground (domestic orders only), delivered in 2-3 shipping days after processing [observed holidays and Sundays are not shipping days]
EXPEDITED SHIPPING for orders under $95.01 = $9.00 for USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground (domestic orders only; see below for international shipping)
*Note - orders that select expedited shipping will arrive 2-3 days after shipping notification is sent; please allow 1-2 business days for processing. If you need the order within 48-72 hours, please contact us. Shipping time frames may be longer for special promotions.
Domestic Tracking: All packages are shipped with tracking; in the rare case that a package is marked as delivered via the provided tracking service but not received, please contact us and we will work to initiate an investigation with the delivering post office. Please note that Barn Chic Boutique cannot be held responsible for packages marked as delivered but not received due to theft or postal office delivery errors.
Shipping fees are non-refundable after the order is processed. Returns are at the customers' expense, but a label can be emailed upon request (shipping fee will be deducted from return amount). Returns on orders that received free shipping will have the prorated shipping fee deducted from the amount of the return.
PROTECTING YOUR ORDER:
We are excited to offer our customers a very affordable and super simple way to protect shipments from our hands to yours (not just your doorstep!) through ROUTE. Route is a new platform for customers to insure their order; at checkout, make sure the “Add shipping protection for $.XX” is selected. (This is underneath the subtotal and above the “update cart” button.)
For orders under $100, the cost for the protection is just 98 cents! For orders over $100, it is roughly 1% of the cart total. This is much cheaper and easier than any insurance that shipping providers offer! We highly encourage you to select this coverage to protect your Barn Chic items from loss, damage, or theft. With Route, even porch pirating issues and packages marked as delivered but not received are covered.
Once you complete your transaction, you will receive an email from Route that provides instructions on how to file a claim (with one click!). This service is available for both domestic and international orders.
Barn Chic Boutique is happy to now provide international shipping! Our shipping platform provides an exact shipping quote based on the weight of your order and location of delivery, with options for shipping provider/time frame of delivery.
International sales are final. Boxed items (cotton swaddles, bath booties, etc) may have packaging removed to fit within international shipping standards.
Please note that import duties and VAT charges may apply for deliveries outside of the United States and are the responsibility of the customer. We have no control over these charges and cannot calculate what they might be as customs policies differ widely. The customer is responsible for all import duties/customs charges/taxes. Though lost packages are very unusual, refunds are not provided, so purchase at your own risk. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU PROTECT YOUR ORDER BY PURCHASING ROUTE SHIPPING COVERAGE AT CHECKOUT (peace of mind for about 1% of your order cost!).

If you receive a damaged or defective item or if we ship the wrong item, we will be happy to exchange it for you immediately and will cover your return shipping of the wrong/damaged item(s).
RETURNS: Barn Chic Boutique clothing that is unwashed, unworn, and with tags attached may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund in the form of original payment (minus original shipping costs). Returns and exchanges are subject to the limits on returns/exchanges below (see below).
EXCHANGES: Barn Chic Boutique products that are unwashed, unworn, and with original tags attached may be exchanged within 14 days of delivery; the customer will receive a credit for the purchase price of the item. Please see limits on exchanges and gifts below.
Limits on Return/Exchanges
* 14 DAYS. No returns or exchanges more than 14 days after delivery.
* Pre-authorization required. Email us to obtain a return authorization number.
* Winter Holiday/Christmas print items are not returnable/exchangeable after December 1.
* In the event that your bank account is closed after making a purchase, Barn Chic will only issue store credit. No refunds will be made by check or to any other accounts.
* Washed or Worn Items: Items returned after tags have been removed or item has been washed, worn, stained, has animal hair, any odor, or is otherwise unable to be resold will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
* Shipping: You are responsible for the shipping and handling charges of returning the item. Original and return shipping charges are non-refundable.
* Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
* Returns over $150: Returns over $150 are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
* ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURNS: We do not accept returns or exchanges on any marked down items, items purchased from the SALE! collection, holiday items after December 1, or boxed items (the keepsake gift sets, cotton swaddle blankets, and newborn gown/hat sets). Items purchased with a discount code but not listed in the SALE! collection are eligible for returns and exchanges.
* International orders: Sales are final. No returns or exchanges accepted on international purchases.
* Gifts: If you received an item as a gift and would like to exchange, please provide us with the purchaser's full name and approximate date of purchase so that we can easily locate the receipt to help you exchange. The gift giver will not be notified. We are unable to offer exchanges in the event that purchaser's name cannot be found in our system and an order number is not available.
Shipping your return/exchange
Please email us to initiate the return and obtain the return authorization number and mailing address for the return shipment. RETURNS SENT WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION MAY BE REFUSED. You can either send your package back to us using the most economical shipping method of your choice, or you can request a return label that will deduct the shipping expense from your refund (customers are responsible for return shipping charges). If you are shipping your items back, please be sure to purchase a tracking number and insurance, as items sent but not received by Barn Chic Boutique will not receive credit for the return. After the return is received by Barn Chic Boutique, you will receive an email notification and your refund is processed by us immediately (though processing time varies by form of payment and bank).

Where are you located?
Barn Chic Boutique is online only, though we do occasionally do pop up events in the Austin, TX area. Our orders are packaged and shipped from our family business in Austin.
How do I know if my order went through?
You will receive an email confirmation of your order immediately after the order is placed. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact us.
Where is my order confirmation?
As soon as your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you entered on your order. If for any reason you did not receive an email, please check your spam folder. If you can’t find an email from us, please email us to ensure that the correct address is on file for order confirmations and shipping updates.
How do I update or cancel an order?
Since we do our best to get your order processed and shipped as soon as possible, please text us at 512-207-0640 (preferable) and/or contact us within two hours of placing your order to make sure we accommodate your changes before your order is out the door and on its way to you or the gift recipient!
When will my order ship (how long is processing time)?
Orders are generally processed and shipped within 1 business day from the date of order, but our guarantee is to process orders within 2 business days. Example: You order on Tuesday afternoon; your order will be on its way to you by Thursday (but likely will ship on Wednesday!). Example: You place your order on Sunday morning (not a business day); this order will likely ship on Monday, but our guarantee is that it will be processed by Wednesday. Example: You order on Friday evening. Your order is guaranteed to ship by Tuesday.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. For more information please visit our Shipping page. If your country is not a shipping destination, you may contact us to inquire about an order.
How much is shipping?
US orders under $50.00 will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail (2-5 days shipping speed) for $4.50. If you would like us to send the order expedited via USPS Priority Mail or UPS, you can select expedited shipping for $9.00 (2-3 days delivery after processing).
US orders $50 and up receive free USPS First Class shipping. No redemption code necessary!
US orders over $95 receive FREE expedited shipping via USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days) or UPS (1-3 days).
For international orders, the shipping cost is viewable at checkout based on weight, destination, and shipping speed. You will be able to see shipping price options before completing the order, so please proceed to enter shipping information to view options.
Can I get my order overnighted?
The short answer is yes, but it is dependent on volume and timing of order for that day; please text us at 512-207-0640 (preferable) and/or contact us to inquire about this service. We partner with USPS Priority Express and UPS for this service at the customer’s expense. The cost is dependent on weight/size of package and shipping destination, but the least expensive option is $26.

Can I ship to an address other than my own?
Yes, and you can enter the recipient’s address directly on the order; it will ship straight to them with a gift receipt enclosed (no prices are on gift receipts or packing slips, and you can enter a custom message for the complimentary gift card!).
Can I leave a message for a gift card? Where do I do that?
Absolutely! We love sending our beautiful baby items as gifts to celebrate the most special of occasions! When you are in the checkout page – in your cart view – there is a question that says IS THIS A GIFT? with additional text following and a large box outlined in black with the text “Add gift card message or special instructions here.”
Do you gift wrap?
We wrap every order in gift tissue, seal with a Barn Chic Boutique sticker, and enclose with a personalized note/gift message in a clear plastic mailer inside the shipping envelope/box so that every order has a gift presentation!
Special Sales & Holiday Promotions
Discounted pricing during special promotions is offered for a limited time while supplies last and is not applicable on previous orders. There are lots of special sales that are only available to our customers and email subscribers, so be sure to sign up for our list – and please know we respect your inbox and only email with sales or big announcements (we email roughly once a month). To join, scroll to the bottom right of our website and enter your email.
My discount code won't work. Help!
If you have any automatic discounts that are appearing when you are on the checkout page (for example, a buy one, get one half off special), the system will not allow additional discount codes to be used on the order. If you would like to use the automatic discounts and a discount code for items that don't apply to the automatic discount, please complete two separate transitions and we will combine the orders for shipping and issue any shipping charge refunds if minimums are met.
How do I initiate a return?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with an item you receive from Barn Chic Boutique, we will be happy to issue a return or exchange within 14 days of purchase, provided that the item is still in its original packaging, has tags attached, has not been worn or washed, and is within the limits of our return policy. Barn Chic Boutique items must be returned with their original tags and packaging. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. To initiate a return, contact us and be sure to read our full return and exchange policy here. Note that international orders, sale items, and boxed items are final sale.
Do I have to pay for the return shipping?
Yes, the customer is responsible for the return shipping expense. However, we can provide you with a label that you can print out and affix to your package; the cost of the shipping is determined by package weight and size, and this cost will be deducted from your return refund. We offer free shipping back to you on exchanges.
Can I return or exchange items that were bought on sale?
All marked down items and items listed in the SALE! collection when purchased are final sale. Holiday print items are not returnable after December 1st. Note that items purchased with a discount code (but not listed on the SALE! page) are not ‘marked down items’ and are eligible for return or exchange unless otherwise noted with the special promotion, but the return or exchange credit is only equal to that of the purchase price.
How long does it take to process my return?
Once your return shipment is received, a refund to your method of payment will be issued within one business day (however, it may take 2-3 weeks for your refund to appear on your statement). You will receive an email notifying you that the refund was processed (less any return shipping fees).
