It is hard to believe that it's been 7 years since our very first online sale! Though this shop has evolved over the years, the gratitude I feel toward you remains deep. Running this business has been one of my greatest joys, challenges, and privileges. Thank you for being a part of this small business success story. 

Barn Chic Boutique actually began as Barn Chic Antiques in 2011 at the Austin Antique Mall as a side gig when I was a middle school teacher and coach. I started traveling to vintage markets in central Texas and added clothing in 2013. The clothing did so well that I closed my booth and transitioned to barnchicboutique.com. 

After having our first child and receiving the most adorable Milkbarn fox print footie as a gift, I decided to add in baby clothing. Baby Barn Chic was added in 2015, and then in 2017, I transitioned to exclusively baby and children's clothing. 

Though I was the only official 'employee' of this shop for years, this has never been a one-woman show. My parents and sister traveled from Illinois to Texas to help with markets, my husband provides endless support and lots of financial guidance, my sister is our photographer and cheerleader, my mother-in-law has packaged orders, and our former babysitter is now the Barn Chic Boutique shipping manager - she catches most all of my mistakes! 

To all of you, whether you liked a social media post, ordered from our shop, tagged us in a photo, or simply joined this email list - thank you. I am so appreciative of your support of small business and it truly is an honor to serve you.
